MoreThanSelf is in Guatemala this month (June 2018). Gail Basham, the organization’s founder and head coordinator was in Antigua, Guatemala two days before the Fuego volcano erupted. Gail brought a volunteer with her and they had moved to the towns around Lake Atitlan when the disaster occurred.
The resilance of the Guatemalan people is amazing. Despite this disaster people are already rebuilding.
